Antares has a Quality Management System (QMS) that has been certified by an independent auditor and quality registrar (SRI Quality System Registrar) to be compliant with the ISO 9001 standard. The QMS is operated by the Enterprise Technology Advancement, Infrastructure and Operations division of Antares and applies to services provided by the Beachwood, Ohio facility. Services include the operation and support of mainframe, midrange and client server computer information systems for the provision of System Management, Help Desk, Telecommunications and Desktop Services.
ISO 9001 is a process-based certification that recognizes organizations that can link business objectives with operating effectiveness. Companies that have achieved this certification have demonstrated effective implementation and provided documentation of top management’s commitment to their customers. Criteria for the certification include establishing a clear policy that comes from effective planning, resource management, process control, measurement and Analysis.

In addition, Antares has more recently earned its ISO 27001 certification, also audited by SRI. The ISO 27001 certification applies to the operation and support of mainframe, midrange and client server information systems for the provision of System Management, Help Desk, Telecommunications and Desktop Services. Using its Information Security Management System in compliance with ISO 27001 as the foundation for an ongoing repeatable process for continuous improvement and security awareness, Antares assures its customers, and those of its parent company, Medical Mutual of Ohio, that their critical information is protected through controlled policies, procedures and best practices.
Through its certification, Antares demonstrates compliance with many of the information security controls and risk mitigation strategies required by various national regulations, such as HIPAA, HiTech, Model Audit (Sarbanes-Oxley 404), SAS 70 Type II, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and others. Antares has the business process framework for managing and ensuring the security of information assets, as well as the appropriate risk management controls, compliance structures and processes for organizing protection of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of those assets.
