Antares has nearly 400 employees focused on systems operations, IS development and IS services. Data Centers

Antares conducts our data center hosting and support services from sites located in Beachwood, Cleveland, Toledo and Strongsville, Ohio. The Beachwood data center is a highly secure, state-of-the-art facility operating 24x7 and monitored around the clock. The facility is a dual-perimeter site, with servers located in a climate-controlled, raised-floor environment, safeguarded by a chemical fire protection system. Data center services include design, development and implementation of mainframe, midrange and distributed/server operating systems; technology analysis and support; data storage, security and administration; and client testing environments.

Security

We understand that privacy, confidentiality and security are critical requirements for our customers. Our Security Administration department's core services are provided to all Antares' clients. Antares' security efforts provide protection for our customers' sensitive records and government-regulated data. This includes the confidentiality, integrity and availability of individual identifiable health information in support of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Transition Process

We base our approach to transitioning your data center, help desk, hosted applications and service delivery on experience and results, increasing your satisfaction and productivity. Antares will apply our proven transition process methodologies, tools and best practices, which are the foundation of a comprehensive transition plan. They ensure that the transition team will:

  • Address all aspects under the leadership of a dedicated and experienced Antares transition manager, working with your company's transition manager.
  • Identify service delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies using Antares' risk assessment methodology.
  • Provide a detailed transition plan with clearly defined roles, responsibilities, tasks and milestones.Collaborate closely with your company to develop a mutually agreeable plan that meets your objectives and concerns.
  • Provide the necessary resources during transition to assist your company in obtaining supplier consents.

Hardware and Software Capabilities

We offer a flexible hosting architecture that provides a range of capabilities, from mainframe and server to desktop management and maintenance of services. Antares supports mainframe, midrange and server-based systems, as well as a number of compatible storage and networking systems. We have an extensive software inventory supporting both the health and life insurance industries.

Disaster Recovery and Business Resumption Planning

Our data center is equipped with a battery back-up system in the event that power is temporarily lost. For long-term power outages, we have an on-site generator to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. Antares' contingency plans rely on a series of backups, off-site storage and a disaster recovery hot site to minimize minor and/or major business disruptions.

Service Desk

Antares provides highly responsive service desk capabilities to resolve system problems and customer issues, following time-proven ISO 9001 Quality Management procedures. We provide a 24x7x365 service desk operation, staffed with help desk analysts certified by the International Help Desk Institute, providing professional response and answering thousands of calls per month. A full-time problem management coordinator proactively monitors occurrences of problems, ensuring that system operation is restored promptly and not interrupted by a future recurrence of the problem.

Antares has a staff of more than 30 network technicians dedicated solely to running the most sophisticated networks. These employees excel in designing, creating and improving communications, from T1 lines to system networks.

Service Level Agreements and Reporting

We value our customers' satisfaction. We believe Service Level Agreements are essential tools in monitoring our performance and your satisfaction. Our SLAs define the boundaries of the engagement in terms of the functions and scope of services that will be provided, performance criteria for response times by Antares and an initial baseline of service metrics.
